The Insercorp Development Team has released an update to the Events Module which improves Accessibility by automatically contrasting the text color of a Calendar Category against the Calendar Category’s color.

UX/UI Improvements

• Previously when Website Administrators would select a color for a category, it did not update the text color to display in contrast with the category color if a lighter category color was selected, making it difficult for users with vision impairments to read certain calendar category labels based on the color. Now if a Website Administrator selects a light color for their category, the module will set the text color to black (in order to make the text more legible). If a Website Administrator selects a dark color for their category, the module will set the text color to white.
