The Insercorp Development Team has released an update to the Venues Module which streamlines the Google Maps API calls, improves the Admin User Interface, and updates meta tags and OG tags for enhanced Search Engine Optimization.

Venues Module version 2.1

API Updates

• Replaced Google Maps JavaScript API with Google Maps Embed API for improved API calls to Google Maps Platform.

User Interface Improvements

• The Module’s Administrative Interface has been updated to utilize the iPlasmaCMS2.8 interface design.

• The Image Crop Tool has been added to the Add/Edit Venue interface for adding or replacing the Venue Image.

SEO Improvements

• Previously the Venue detail pages used the Website’s Default Meta and OG tags.  This has been updated so that Venue detail pages now use the Venue’s name and image as the meta properties for OG name and OG image.
