Slideshow Module 4.2.2 Security Patch Notes

The Insercorp Development Team has released a security patch to the Slideshow Module which allows the use of external links more safely without jeopardizing the data of website users.

Security Update

• When a Slide within the Slideshow Module is linked to an external url and set to open in a new window, the Slideshow will now automatically add ‘rel=”noreferrer”’ to the link. This improves the safety of website users by preventing hackers from being able to track where the user comes from when they navigate to an external link.
