Directory Module 2.1 Update Release Notes
09/24/2015: Includes New Google Map Feature and Technical Improvements
The Insercorp Development team has released an update to the Directory Module enabling a map feature which displays a Google Map for website visitors above the directory listing. This update also improves several deficiencies from previous versions.
Directory Module 2.1 Update
Features
- A new "Directory Map" feature has been added as an option in the Directory Module Dashboard. Website Administrators can now enable a Google Map which will display above the listings on the Directory landing page and Directory Category filter lists by clicking the "Yes" toggle for "Landing Page Map" when Website Administrators click on "Edit the Landing Page" from the Directory Module Dashboard.
- Website Administrators can now create and manage Map Icons for categories and individual listings, including selecting an existing icon or importing their own custom icon(s).
Improvements
- Previously the "Edit" button for editing existing Directory Listings returned an error or did not work. This has been improved so the "Edit" button generates the "Edit Listing" popup as intended.
